Klättercentret Solna

Solid climbing gym with small boulder area, the routes are either quite easy (3-4ish) or quite hard 6+. Most stuff is pumpy or dynamic, i i personally do not like, good for buffing up, not so nice when you love balance boulders. Lead climbing is nice, you have Auto belay systems and a lot of top rope routes. The coffee is swedish, but hot water is free to get the coffee down a notch

Klättercentret Solna has a lot to offer. A great layout of both bouldering (two floors) and top roping (40m at its highest)with a good variety of grades - a great amount of choice. There’s also a good selection of hang boards and a small gym with enough equipment to get by plus a small coffee bar and equipment shop. It’s always a bonus when you can rent any equipment you need.

This has been my climbing home for the last 6 years or so off and on even though I mostly come for the spartan (as in minimalist but totally adequate) gym these days. I haven't been during the busy hours for a few years but I think it's always been a special climbing gym because of it's size. The staff will know you and you will know them. All the regulars are stuffed together. Quite a few auto-belays if you're solo and even with the compact gym they have some decently tall rope routes. Telefonplan always felt large but too full, Akalla large and too empty (although I enjoy both). Everything in Solna is the right size for good community all the way to the Sauna for 3-4 people. Of course it's not the most amazing climbing gym I've been too. It lacks a lot of interesting wall features you will find in other places and as a hobby only climber I don't feel like the 6 grade routes are super interesting and most of the people I talk to feel the same -- but it has a good feeling and that's important to me.
